The Office
Let’s face it. Life is hard. It’s suffering sometimes. But does it have to be? It’s all in how we think, believe, and act. It’s our choices in thought, beliefs, and actions that bring us to difficulties; or bring us to happiness. My goal in therapy is to help you identify thoughts, and beliefs, that are affecting your actions. Those choices that have brought suffering, and turn them around. Because at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter as much what happens to us, as how we respond to it. Another way of saying that is: we are bothered less by the stuff that happens, and more by how we think about the stuff that happens.
Struggling with a difficult family relationship? I provide family therapy. I work with families on all sorts of issues. It may be a family member who isn't pulling their weight or an alcohol problem. Whatever it may be, therapy can help. I work with families in a non judgmental environment, and provide direct feedback for change.
Been affected by social media? Gossip on any social media site. Bullying on social media. You are not alone. Believe me you are not alone. This experience creates stress and anxiety. Therapy can help.
If your boss or coworker is causing you to lose sleep at night, there are answers to the problem. There are solutions. Work stress is a big reason that people lose sleep. Sometimes talking through it with someone who can give you helpful feedback relieves the stress. Finding solutions, and putting them into practice is the best thing for a good nights sleep.
